Procedure for becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Attadale (RCA) Interested in becoming a Rotarian Rotary is the world’s oldest and largest service organization and is active in Western Australia with clubs in the metropolitan, rural and regional areas. The Rotary Club of Attadale (RCA) was inaugurated in 1982 and has been operating very successfully since then by contributing to the community through the Avenues of Service - club, vocational, youth, community and international. Our Club meets most Monday evenings but not on public holidays or over the Christmas, New Year period. Attendance requirements are quite relaxed and members are encouraged to attend when able to do so. To gain most from membership of Rotary, we encourage you to serve on a committee for one of the club’s Avenues of Service, to attend some club fellowship events and to take an active role in service, charity and fundraising work. Participation in committee work helps you meet obligations of being a member of Rotary can benefits your personal development. Rotary International has “Service above Self” as a main theme, which guides the activities of the organization. Rotary provides you with the opportunity to make strong friendships and valuable business connections, as well as being able to be involved with networking activities. Rotary clubs are committed to making the world a better place by applying their efforts to local and international service projects. Becoming a Rotarian
